Explore our Living Landscapes
There are lots of beautiful natural spaces across PAE. Since last year, we’ve been working to create a travelling Living Landscapes display to showcase photos by our community of the places and natural landscapes in PAE that are special to them. Head into our Civic Centre, at 163 St Vincent St, Port Adelaide, to view the display during business hours.
We’ve been thrilled by the community contributions we’ve received for this project, which include photos of locations ranging from the Barker Inlet to Semaphore Jetty, and from Roy Amer Reserve to Mutton Cove. The exhibition will be moving around our libraries and public spaces – it’s all about bringing the outdoors indoors, showcasing PAE in all its natural beauty. We will also be sharing these photos on our social media accounts.
We’re keen to continue celebrating our cherished places and growing our collection of community images. We’re looking for pictures that celebrate the variety of natural places that make up PAE, including coastal beaches, wetlands, rives and creeks – not to mention any of our beautiful parks and reserves or community gardens. There are currently more than 60 landscapes placed on our map at Participate PAE. Add yours by sharing a photo of your favourite natural landscape and tell us why it’s special to you.
